Chad Finchum Invades Bristol Motor Speedway for Food City 500
Knoxville, Tennessee’s own Chad Finchum had the opportunity to compete on his home track with the NASCAR Cup Series this past weekend.
Finchum took on 37 of the nation’s best at the legendary Bristol Motor Speedway in the Food City 500 on the high-banked half-mile oval.
He showed solid speed in the preliminary sessions, but suspension issues on Sunday hampered his performance for the remainder of the event. His night ultimately came to an end after making hard contact with the wall during a three-wide battle.
