Finchum Drives to 17th-Place Finish in Bennett Transportation & Logistics 250 at EchoPark Speedway
Chad Finchum returned to the driver’s seat this past weekend, piloting the Joey Gase Motorsports No. 55 Chevrolet in the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series at EchoPark Speedway.
Qualifying on the track’s new configuration marked his first attempt on the layout, but he steadily found speed as the night progressed.
After starting 37th in the Bennett Transportation & Logistics 250, Finchum delivered an impressive charge through the field, advancing 20 positions in the 250-lap event to finish 17th.
The effort marked his largest gain in positions since Talladega in 2020 and ranks as the third-best improvement of his career. His top two performances remain 21-position gains in the Coca-Cola Firecracker 250 (2018) and the Ag-Pro 300 (2020).
