Chad Finchum pilots Garage 66 at Bowman Gray

Chad Finchum checked off a major item on his racing bucket list this past week, making his NASCAR Cup Series debut as Bowman Gray Stadium hosted the Cook Out Clash.

With frigid temperatures and lingering precipitation forcing the event to shift from Sunday to Wednesday afternoon, Finchum rolled out the Garage 66 entry on Wednesday night with fresh new sponsorship from Cooper & Hunter USA and the New York Sports Show. His bid for the main event came up just short, finishing 13th in the Last Chance Qualifier, but the outing provided valuable experience and marked his official debut in the NASCAR Cup Series.
