Finchum Charges to 22nd at Darlington

Chad Finchum enjoyed a fantastic outing in his return to racing on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Darlington (S.C.) Raceway in the NASCAR Xfinity Series' Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help A Hero 200.

Chad started his outing by earning the 33rd starting spot on the grid via his qualifying effort in his Mustang Week No. 08 Powerhouse Diesel Performance / SS GreenLight Racing Ford Mustang.

He raced his way into as high as the Top 10 via pit strategy and was ultimately able to bring his entry home in one piece to record a 22nd-place finish.

Finchum is now eagerly preparing for his next NASCAR Xfinity Series event with the team, which will come on Sept. 15 at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway.
