Finchum Races into New Hampshire
It was back to the driver's seat for Chad Finchum over the weekend. He piloted the MBM Motrsports / Coble Enterprises No. 66 Wild Willies Ford in NASCAR Xfinity Series action at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (Loudon, N.H.).
Qualifying 34th fastest out of 38 entries earned Chad the 34th-starting spot for the 200-lap event.
Early in the race he moved into the Top 30 in the running order. Unfortunately early in stage two, a broken left-front tie rod eliminated Finchum from the race.
He was credited with a 35th-place finish.
"I'm very proud of our team for providing a fast car, and I really felt we were capable of a Top-20 finish," Finchum said. "Overall, I'm just super thankful and blessed to be called up to get behind the wheel again and race. Hopefully we can arrange more races very soon."
