Chad Finchum Returns to Action with Martinsville Trip

MARTINSVILLE, Va. (10/29/22) - Chad Finchum returned to NASCAR Xfinity Series competition on Saturday at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway.

Finchum piloted the Food City Grocery / Finishing Touch Detailing and Paint Correction No. 13 MBM Motorsports / SheBrews Coffee / The Apple Barn / Toyota of Knoxville / Powerhouse Diesel / Toyota Supra into battle in the Dead on Tools 250.

Finchum lined up 35th on the starting grid for the event. He advanced a few spots early in the event before brake issues began to plague his entry.

He utlimately retired just pas the halfway mark to a 36th-place finish.

"Mechanical issues might've knocked us out early, but I'm still extremely grateful for the opportunity to drive the MBM Motorsports car one last time this year. Martinsville (Speedway) is a fun place, and I had a blast while we were on track," Finchum said. "Hopefully next year we can make more events happen. Thanks so much to each-and-every person who supports my racing endeavors. I can't thank them all enough for their great support."
