Chad Finchum Falls Short of the Mark at Bristol

BRISTOL, Tenn. (09/16/22) - Chad Finchum had high hopes over the weekend as he went into battle with the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Bristol Motor Speedway in the Food City 300.

Finchum entered the Food City Grocery / Toyota of Knoxville No. 13 MBM Motorsports / Finishing Touch Detailing / Powerhouse Diesel / Toyota Supra into the event, but struggles in practice and time trials left him short of qualifying for the event.

"It was a very tough night for us at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday. We only had limited practice and just couldn't get the car handling like we needed to," Finchum shared. "We gained quite a bit of speed from practice to qualifying, but it wasn't enough to make the race. Probably one of the hardest ones to walk away from. Thank you to all of our great partners we had on board."
