Chad Finchum Returns to Action with Top-15 Performance at Charlotte

Concord, North Carolina (05/29/21) - After last competing in NASCAR Xfinity Series action two-and-a-half months ago, Chad Finchum was excited to return to action on Saturday afternoon at Charlotte Motor Speedway in the Alsco Uniforms 300.

Finchum hit the ground running by qualifying 22nd on the grid in his MBM Motorsports No. 13 Toyota.

Avoiding multiple melees throughout the event at the 1.5-mile oval, Chad wheeled his entry to a 15th-place finish in his return to the driver's seat.

"I just can't thank my guys at MBM Motorsports enough. I haven't been driving full-time this year, so the opportunities to get behind the wheel have been limited, so the odds have been stocked against us. We qualified 22nd of the 43 entries after being out of the car for two-and-a-half months," Finchum said. "We had to dodge a lot of wrecks, and we got the car tuned up by the end of the race and crossed the stripe in 15th. I'm really proud of what we are able to accomplish, and I'm looking forward to returning to the car in a few weeks at Nashville Super Speedway."
