Chad Finchum Retires Early at Atlanta

Atlanta, Georgia (03/20/21) - Chad Finchum entered the EchoPark 250 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Saturday in the MBM Motorsports No. 13 entry.

Due to a driver change he had to start 40th on the grid. Early in the race he advanced to inside of the Top-20 in the NASCAR Xfinity Series event at the 1.5-mile oval, but unfortunately due to budget limitations had to retire on lap 59 and was credited with a 39th-place finish.

"Our day got cut short, but we had an absolute rocket ship. Honestly, we had probably the best Atlanta car we've ever had," Finchum said. "We started 40th in the MBM Motorsports No. 13 and drove into the Top 20, and I believe we were capable of a Top-15 finish. Unfortunately, due to a lack of funds we had to call it a day early, but I'm really proud of our team and what we achieved, and now we are looking forward to Martinsville in a few weeks."
