Chad Finchum Races to 21st-Place Finish at LVMS

Las Vegas, Nevada (02/23/20) - Chad Finchum made the long trek to Las Vegas Motor Speedway over the weekend for the second round of the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season.

The 1.5-mile oval played host to the Boyd Gaming 300. With rain washing away qualifying, the starting grid was set by owner's points. As a result, Finchum was positioned 34th on the starting grid for the 200-lap affair in his MBM Motorsports No. 13 Garrison Homes/ Toyota.

On Saturday the event continued to be sporadicallly plagued by rain before showers finally set in for good on lap 50, forcing the remainder of the event to be postponed until Sunday evening. At the time of the rain delay Chad sat in the 24th position.

During the remainder of the event he charged to a 21st-place finish.

"It was a long two day sin Las Vegas, but we ended up finishing in 21st with no damage. The car got better and better all day long, and I can't thank my crew at MBM Motorsports enough for preparing this No. 13 machine," Finchum said. "I'm excited to head to Fontana, California next weekend and pick up where we left off."
