Chad Finchum Ends Western Swing at Phoenix Raceway

Avondale, Arizona (03/07/20) - Saturday found Chad Finchum wrapping up three weeks of NASCAR Xfinity Series on the West Coast with the LS Tractor 200 at Phoenix Raceway.

Starting 31st on the grid for the 200-lap affair at the 1-mile oval in his MBM Motorsports/Smithbilt Homes No. 13 Garrison Homes/ Toyota, Chad went on to advance to a 24th-place finish.

"We started the weekend in practice by trying some different things on the cars to get good on the long runs. We came here on a different tire, and our previous notes just didn't work, so we had to do our homework and try some new things," Finchum shared. "We had a very hard-fought race day, and I'm proud to say we crossed the finish line in 24th.

"We also gained another spot in points, so we are up to 19th, which is something else we're very proud to have achieved. I'm proud of this team, and now we're all ready to finally head back home. We'll see everyone at Atlanta next weekend."
