Finchum Finishes 24th at Texas Motor Speedway

Justin, Texas (07/18/20) - The reboot of the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season continued on Saturday at Texas Motor Speedway, where Chad Finchum entered the My Bariatric Solutions 300 in his Smithbilt Homes No. 13 CrashClaimsR.us Toyota.

Starting 29th on the grid at the 1.5-mile oval on a steamy Saturday afternoon

"We fought some uphill battles today. We started a little free and made some adjustments before battling ignition box issues late in Stage 1. We went a lap down but we overcame that to get back on the lead lap. We ran in the Top-20 for most of the day before having a right front, sway bar problem late that cost us a few spots. We crossed the line in 25th, but the winner got DQ's in post-race tech so we were moved up to 24th in the final rundown.

"I'm looking forward to Kansas next week. I had a really good run at Kansas a few years, tying my career-best finish in NASCAR Xfinity Series, so I'm hoping we can back that up next weekend.
