Chad Finchum Embarks on Doubleheader at the "Monster Mile"

Dover, Delaware (08/23/20) - Chad Finchum took his Garrison Homes No. 13 MBM Motorsports Toyota into battle over the weekend in a doubleheader of action at Dover International Speedway.

Action began on Saturday at the track, known as "The Monster Mile." Battling through constant challenges, Finchum preserved to finish 29th in the Drydene 200 at the one-mile, concrete oval.

The team looked to improve their performance on Sunday in the 200-lap, Drydene 200. Starting 32nd on the grid, Chad advanced to a 24th-place finish in the final rundown.

"Saturday was a battle from the get-go as our team faced a lot of adversity. We grinded it out to finish 29th, but we definitely were hoping for a better day on Sunday, and thankfully we got it," Finchum commented. "On Sunday we had a decent car all day and fought a hard race. Our guys on pit road did a great job and got us a couple spots at the of the long green flag run. My crew chief, Ryan Bell did an amazing job calling the race and spotter, Frank Deiny is the best in the business.

"We aren't satisfied with 24th but we are proud of it and will keep working to improve. Last but definitely not least, I want to say thank you to Garrison Homes for their continues partnership with MBM Motorsports."
