Mechanical Gremlins Strike Again; Sideline Finchum Early at 'Dega

Talladega, Alabama (04/26/19) - Chad Finchum was in new digs for Saturday's MoneyLion 300 at Talladega Superspeedway. He was behind the wheel of the Crash Claims R Us No. 13 MBM Motorsports/ James Carter Attorney at Law Toyota Supra. With a new look for the event at the 2.5-mile oval, Chad was hoping he would find better luck than he had a week earlier at Richmond.
As fate would have it, mechanical gremlins would again strike, ending Finchum's day early.

"We didn't have the day that we planned. Our car was pretty good and we were drafting up through the field early with our teammate, Max Tullman. Then, it all went south when we had a mechanical failure just before the end of the first round that sent us behind the wall, ending our day," Finchum recounted. "Next week I'll be back in the No. 42 at Dover, and I'm really looking forward to that. We'll see what we can do there and look for better luck."

Finchum was credited with a 36th-place finish after seeing his day come to an end on lap 36.
