Finchum Battles Challenges to 30th-Place Finish at the Monster Mile

Dover, Delaware (05/04/19) - Chad Finchum battled past track-bar issues and an untimely caution to finish 30th at Dover International Speedway in his Garrison Homes No. 42 MBM Motorsports/ Smithbilt Homes Toyota.

"This mile is definitely a monster, and he's definitely tough to tame," Finchum said. "The Garrison Homes Toyota was awesome today, but we had a track bar break late in the race and then changed everything.

" I think we had a 22nd-place car or so before we broke the part, but that's just how it goes sometimes. We'll take these next two off weeks and prepare for Charlotte, where we'll be back in the Toyota Supra."

Chad qualified 27th on the grid for the Allied Steel Buildings 200 at the tricky, one-mile confines of Dover International Speedway. At the end of the first stage he resided in the 24th position.
