Chad Finchum's Charlotte Outing Ends Early with Mechanical Failure

Concord, North Carolina (05/25/19) - Chad Finchum's outing on Saturday afternoon in the Alsco 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway came to an end before it ever really got started.

A mechanical failure on lap-5 brought Finchum's day to a screeching halt in his A-1 Finchum Heating & Cooling No. 42 MBM Motorsports/ Smithbilt Homes Toyota.

"We thought we had a Top-15 car for Charlotte, but circumstances just went against us," Finchum said. "It was very disappointing, but was just something totally out of our control.

"The bigger picture is that we wouldn't have had this opportunity without the incredibly brave men and women, who defend our freedom around the globe. This Memorial Day weekend is about them, and I just want to thank them all for everything that they do."
