Chad Finchum Plagued Again by Brake Issues

Watkins Glen, New York (08/03/19) - Chad Finchum can't seem to catch a "brake" here lately. Literally.

For the third-straight event, the Tennessee racer was sidelined by brake issues on Saturday during the Zippo 200 with the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Watkins Glen International. Another promising run was derailed by a mechanical failure.

"I don't have a ton of road course experience in my racing career, and I learned a lot in my debut last year at Watkins Glen," Finchum said. "We were making gains today before brake issues struck again and took us out of the race.

We'll take what we learned here this weekend and try to build momentum with it next weekend on the road course at Mid Ohio."
