Chad Finchum Misses the Cut at Bristol

Bristol, Tennessee (08/16/19) - Chad Finchum had been eagerly anticipating the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway on Friday night.

Unfortunately, struggles in qualifiying left the home-state driver short of qualifying for the Food City 300 starting grid in his MBM Motorsports No. 66 Smithbilt Homes/ The Apple Barn/ Toyota of Kingsport/ Texas Roadhouse of Kingsport/ Service Electric/ Toyota Supra.

"We just got the car to tight in qualifying, and it was a really stacked field. As a result, we fell short of qualifying for the feature. It's just so disappointing for us," Finchum said. "A big shout out to Bristol Motor Speedway and Food City for putting together a great week. There's been a lot of great activities. It's been really awesome up until now. We'll keep our heads high and go to Road America next week.
