Transmission Failure Sidelines Chad Finchum at Road America

Plymouth, Wisconsin (08/24/19) - Chad Finchum tackled the legendary Road America over the weekend with the NASCAR Xfinity Series. The Tennessee racer was eager to get back to action and put his recent mechanical woes in the rearview mirror.

Unfortunately, his bad luck continued as a transmission failure sidelined him on lap 15 of the C-Tech Manufacturing 180 at the sprawling road course.

"We just can't seem to get this monkey off our back," Finchum shared. "The past few weeks we battled brake issues, and this week we faced a different adversary, which came in the form of a transmission failure. We just don't seem to have any luck right now, but we'll focus on forging ahead and getting ready for Darlington."
