Lady in Black Cuts Chad Finchum No Slack

Chad Finchum had a daunting task in front of him on Saturday as he followed the NASCAR Xfinity Series to Darlington Speedway for the Sport Clips Haircuts 200.

It would prove to be a trying day for the driver of the Smithbilt Homes/ Allstate /MBM Motorsports/No. 40 Toyota Camry as he took his best shot as the track known as "The Lady in Black."

"It was just a tough day from the get-go," Finchum said. "We started 37th on the grid via qualifying had to use the back-up car because our primary car wasn't available. We had a vibration that progressively got worse. The team discovered a corded tire, but went to the garage to diagnose the issue. They initially said we were done, so I left the garage. The team eneded up going back out with Timmy Hill in the car to see if they had the issues resolved.
