Chad Finchum Has Career Outing with the NASCAR Xfinity Series in Kansas

Kansas City, Kansas (10/20/18) - Chad Finchum piloted his Smithbilt Homes/ MBM Motorsports/No. 40 Toyota Camry to the best finish of young NASCAR Xfinity Series career on Saturday afternoon.

The Tennessee racer survived a chaotic event at Kansas Speedway to advance from his 33rd starting spot to a 16th-place finish. The performance marked his best to date with the series.

"I'm almost at a loss for words," an elated Finchum said following his 16th-place run in the Kansas Lottery 300 on Saturday afternoon. "This is the raciest we've been all year. This year has been full of trials with a lot of ups and downs. We ran 11th for almost an entire stage before a lugnut issue on pit road, but we bounced back from that too. I'm really pumped for this whole team, and I can't wait to get down to Texas in two weeks for our next event."
