Chad Finchum Starts the year off Right with Three wins
Tennessee Native Finds Success in North Carolina

It’s not really that surprising to see Chad Finchum catch on so quick at the Pro level in Legends car racing. He did the same thing when he was in the Bandoleros and last year when he was in the Young Lions Legends class. Now, the 15 year-old driver, who just turned Pro a few weeks back, has kicked off 2010 with three wins in three starts within the state of North Carolina.
“It feels great to win after moving up to the Pro class,” said Finchum. “It meant a lot to us when we won down at Orlando and now to come back closer to home and win at Concord and Rockingham has me really excited for this year.”
Finchum’s most impressive win might have been at Concord Speedway when he started on the tail of the Pro feature and beat out the 2009 National Champion Daniel Hemric and region standout Steven Ross for the victory.
“Our first race of the season at Concord was very special,” said Finchum. “To beat Hemric and Ross in their own backyard really means a lot. Those two are some of the best in our class. I could do it without Jay and Dennis Lambert and Mom and Dad. They have done so much to keep us going strong. I have to thank them for all their hard work.”
Chad Finchum will look to continue his win streak this coming weekend in North Carolina as he chases points and wins heading into the summer months.
